Oracle Applications Sales Representative III in Richmond, Virginia

Job Description

As a Client Executive, you will manage the sales process for new logo clients of various sizes to meet sales goals for a defined set of clients in a sales territory. You will manage a sales process, meetings, communication, and deliverables as primary sales point of contact for a geography, conduct lead generation activities to grow sales pipeline within assigned clients, and perform market and competitive research to contribute to client specific sales strategies. You will build and maintain relationships with key client decision makers through consistent engagement and support, facilitate education for clients on Oracle Cerner solutions and services, and create sales proposals that address the specific needs of the client organization. As a key member of the team, you will support contract negotiations and manage pipeline and forecast to drive sales opportunities to closure against a sales quota. Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 5 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

  • At least 3 years of sales, business development, client relationship management, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting or other client-facing HCIT solution work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • At least 5 years of sales or sales operations experience at Oracle Cerner

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships across c-suite and department managers within the hospital and health systems on their prospective client list.

  • Serves as the sales contact for the assigned geography.

  • Assists in identifying prospective client needs and potential solutions.

  • Assists in tailoring presentations to the client organization or potential clients.

  • Demonstrates a return on investment for the client organization.

  • Assists in managing consultative client relationships.

  • Engages a deep bench of knowledge experts and serves as the lead of the opportunity.

  • Assists in overall strategy development and client messaging.

  • Participates in territory management.

  • Assists alongside Cerner executives to negotiate contracts.

  • Communicates market and solution expertise to the sales team.

  • Assists in forecasting and projecting sales opportunities.

  • Stays current on business trends, technology, and innovation trends in healthcare.

  • Completes all deliverables assigned in the Client Executive curriculum.

  • Represents Cerner in a professional manner at all times.

  • Performs other responsibilities as needed.

  • Works in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures. Understands personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets. Takes appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of role.

  • Follows Cerner policies, upholds professional standards, and performs all work in a manner respectful of others.

  • Takes an active part in driving their Professional Development Plan (PDP) and career development.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $70,200 to $147,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 50/50.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
