Direct Care Staff PRN

Full time. B. Shift, 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm C. Shift, 10:30 pm - 6:30 am (Flexible 8-hour shifts, Mon-Sun.) Weekends, 6:30 am - 10:30 pm (Flexible 8-hour shifts, Sat-Sun.)

Duties: - Behavior Support Specialist PRN is called to fill in for an absent employee or to cover special situations as needed. - Work a minimum of four shifts per month. - Work at least two agency-recognized holidays per year. - Contact their supervisor weekly to inform them of availability to work. - The Behavior Support Specialist is accountable, under the direct supervision of the Shift Supervisor, for the safety and well-being of the children and youth in their care. - This position is responsible for coordinating and implementing interventions and activities to promote growth and create a stable environment as children and youth progress through the program.

Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED. - Must participate in behavior management and physical restraint training once hired.

• Certification in First Aid and CPR (Maybe obtained upon hire.)

Candidates must pass a drug screen and background check. (Due to the nature of employer's business, company policy requires that candidates having criminal background will not be considered for employment.)
