Description

We are seeking an Office Assistant/Unclaimed Property Assistant for our location in Richmond, Indiana. This role is crucial to our operations as you will be responsible for ensuring the secure handling and competent processing of client information and data. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity that would run for about a year. This would be a hybrid role and would require working in the office Monday thru Wednesday and then remote Thursday and Friday. the hours would be 8am to 5pm.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and clean up data regularly for accuracy and efficiency.

• Assist with the preparation of due diligence letters and develop strong relationships with vendor contacts.

• Respond to inquiries received via phone and email from customers of all levels in a respectful manner.

• Ensure due diligence responses and documentation meet compliance requirements.

• Enter payment vouchers and manage financial operations.

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and data processing systems, specifically PeopleSoft AP and Tracker Pro, for day-to-day tasks.

• Implement records management and customer service standards.

• Exhibit strong multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills.

• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

• Foster a team-oriented environment while being self-motivated and able to follow instructions.

• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites

• Ability to perform ad hoc financial operations

• Experience in property and records management

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills

• Proven customer service skills

• Strong time management abilities

• Familiarity with office functions and documentation procedures

• Knowledge of compliance functions and due diligence processes

• Experience in data and payment processing

• Proficiency in using PeopleSoft and other office software

• Familiarity with workstation support and operation centers

• Ability to manage vendor contacts effectively

• Knowledge of escheatment procedures and regulations

• Physical presence at the office site is required

• Ability to manage and coordinate office activities effectively.
