City of Richland Utility Craftsworker in Richland, Washington
The ideal candidate will have the core values to protect and serve the citizens of Richland, be cognizant of the responsibility that is required to provide clean safe drinking water. This person will be a team player and willing to help other members of the team to flourish and be successful, have strong problem-solving skills to ensure the Water Plant is meeting regulatory requirements.
Priority consideration will be given to applicants who apply prior to November 14th. First review of applications will take place beginning on November 15th and then weekly until the closing date.
Under the direction of the Water Manager or designee, performs semi-skilled work in a variety of crafts toward the construction, maintenance and repair of the City's water mains, service connections, valves, hydrants, automated meter system, treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations and other facilities of a water system. Subject to after hours and weekend work as needed. Safely performs all job functions.
