About Us: Senior Life Resources is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with dignity and compassionate care in their homes. Through programs like Home Care Services and Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels, we provide essential support to seniors, ensuring they maintain independence and well-being.

We are currently seeking a Special Events Coordinator to play a vital role in planning and executing key events that foster community connections and advance our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Management

• Plan and coordinate special events and campaigns from start to completion.
• Collaborate on event themes, concepts, and budgets.
• Book venues, vendors, and necessary resources.
• Use Monday.com for task management and project tracking.

Committee Oversight

• Prepare meeting notes and agendas for planning committees.
• Support committee members in fulfilling their roles.

Volunteer Coordination

• Partner with Volunteer and Philanthropy Managers to oversee and coordinate volunteer activities.
• Assist in scheduling, training, and deploying volunteers.

Donor Appreciation

• Prepare and deliver weekly donor appreciation letters and materials to strengthen relationships.

Event Evaluation

• Participate in post-event evaluations to analyze outcomes and suggest improvements.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in event planning and management; formal education is not required.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Team collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools, especially Monday.com, is a plus.
• Passion for community engagement and philanthropy.
