Responsibilities ENERCON Federal Services is seeking a Project Manager in Aiken, SC, Kennewick, WA, Naperville, IL, Overland Park, KS, FT Worth, TX, Dallas, TX, or Kennesaw, GA and other office locations. Lead efforts while working with technical staff to develop winning, and highly detailed, engineering proposals Develop Federal Services Project Work Plans, Risk Management Plans, Communication Plans, Work Breakdown Structures and Dictionaries Enforce Internal and Federal work standards, schedules, supervising sub-contractor personnel, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates Responsible for development of project schedule, execution of schedule, reporting on schedule, preparing recovery schedules and rebaselining schedules Responsible to managed matrixed technical staff to ensure client deliverables meet quality standards, schedules, technical requirements Understand complex scheduling tools including earned value management and reporting processes Formulate / develop detailed internal and Federal reporting requirements Understand project financials and be able to report regularly to management on financial status and overall project performance Foster and maintain working relations with assigned clients, act as a single point of contact for assigned projects Manage client interactions and negotiate / control project scope to client and the company's satisfaction Support marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities, proposal preparation and follow-up Responsible for the planning, implementation, management, performance, and supervision of the Federal DOE Contracts Qualifications This role is for a specific contract doing work for one of our federal clients. Minimum of 15 years' experience in the federal power projects or nuclear power industries as an Engineer or Project Manager Bachelor's Degree in Engineering -OR- PMP Certification and BS in Business or Architectural Skilled in cost / workhour estimating and proposal development and review Capable of reporting on and managing scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects executing simultaneously Knowledge in earned value management, rules of credit, and progress reporting Experienced in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and review Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes Strong coordination and team building skills Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks Position may occasionally require a client site assignment lasting several months at a time Must be a US Citizen to be eligible for this position Ability to obtain DOE L or Q clearance #LI-SH7 Salary Range The salary range for this full-time position is below.
