System One Process Engineer in Richland, Washington

System One is looking for a Process Engineer local to Richland, WA to join our client’s engineering team.

This is a contract position onsite in Richland, WA with the possibility of extension or conversion. You will enjoy a competitive salary, as well as a supportive and collaborative work environment.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Ceramics, Chemistry or Industrial) with a minimum of 3 years work experience.

  • Work will vary but can include

  • Help verify parameters and ensure technically applied on floor

  • Ensures compliance with government, organization, and customer engineering standards

  • Data analysis to support improvements

  • Perform troubleshooting and provide technical resolution of technical problems

  • Review of past events to improve barriers

  • Support tooling and fixturing design and improvements

  • Identify and help implement improvements in Safety, Quality and Productivity

  • Update procedures

  • Lean 6-Sigma or Lean principles a plus
