A Pipeline Designer Professional is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Richland, WA area. This job involves 3D piping design, coordination of model activities, and preparation of design documents, requiring experience with ASME codes and 3D modeling platforms, while supporting planning, scheduling, and interfacing with engineering teams, suppliers, and construction.

responsibilities:

• Support planning and scheduling tasks.

• Prepare and maintain design procedures and standards to ensure quality design documents.

• Interface with stress and pipe support engineers, construction teams, and suppliers during piping design preparation for model/space control.

• Review engineering documents for accuracy and completeness.

• Possess advanced knowledge of piping codes such as ASME B31.3 or B31.1.

• Perform 3D modeling of piping and equipment in a 3D model environment.

• Prepare 2D drawings/documents for General Arrangements and piping isometric drawings.

• Assist with coordination of 3D model activities (input, interference reconciliation, etc.) with other physical-related disciplines.

Education and Experience:

• Grade 25: AA/AS/Certification with 8 years of related design experience, or 12 years of related design experience.

• Grade 26: AA/AS/Certification with 11 years of related design experience, or 15 years of related design experience.
