Electrical Assembler

Job Description

Perform electronics and mechanical assembly from sub-assembly level to finished goods. Load and operate automated manufacturing equipment according to work instructions and follow standard operating procedures. Assemble products according to good manufacturing practices, including ESD safe handling, specification of materials, parts and assembly, and operating process equipment. Perform incoming parts inspections and place components into inventory. Follow document control process for work instruction and travelers. Create and modify work instructions and travelers as needed. Responsible for shipping and receiving.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products according to good manufacturing practices, including ESD safe handling, specification of materials, parts, and assembly, and operating process equipment.

  • Perform incoming parts inspections and place components into inventory.

  • Follow document control process for work instruction and travelers.

  • Create and modify work instructions and travelers as needed.

  • Responsible for shipping and receiving.

  • Assist Supervisor and/or Team Leader in production planning.

  • Follow all safety requirements across the manufacturing plant and notify your Supervisor and/or Team Lead of any potential safety risks.

  • Adhere to all policies and practices, ensuring the Code of Conduct and highest level of ethics are always maintained.

Work Environment

The work environment is a semiconductor plant, where most of the time will be spent on the production floor. You will be part of a small team of 2-3 people, running and maintaining production operations.
