Edgewater Technical Associates LLC Maintenance Technical Expert in Richland, Washington

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Maintenance Technical Expert opportunity in Richland, WA to support Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS). Qualifications: Subcontractor personnel assigned to this work shall have combined ten years of experience in the following areas:

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and/or
  • Maintenance Field Work Supervision

Subcontractor personnel assigned to this work shall have demonstrated experience with:

  • Work Planning Processes on a Department of Energy site.
  • Enterprise Asset Management systems.
  • DOE compliant Records Repository systems.
  • Electrical or mechanical system maintenance.

Scope of Work: Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) requires a Maintenance Technical Expert to support the planning of work packages, lockout tagout, Engineering Change Notice (ECN) development, troubleshooting of systems and technical support for critical, safe, and compliant work execution of key activities within Tank Farms facilities. Work performed under this scope will provide various technical support including walkdowns, support of field personnel in troubleshooting and document management (PMs, PM datasheets, EAM and SmartPlant Foundation (SPF)) for maintenance of tank farm systems. The Maintenance Technical Expert will work with maintenance management on priorities, and will also work with Subject Matter Expert (SME) within engineering, safety and operations to support critical activities. Programs that will be supported include WRPS Production Operations, Maintenance, Facilities, Retrieval and Closure, and Projects/Construction organizations. The Maintenance Technical Expert shall provide support to the WRPS Maintenance Manager and the Maintenance Craft Support Manager as described below.

  • Work planning
  • Job Walkdowns
  • Troubleshooting of systems to include troubleshooting plan drawings and general support
  • Technical review and comment on engineering document changes
  • Technical review and comment on maintenance procedure changes
  • Field support for upgrades (excluding farm entries)

The Maintenance Technical Expert will also provide regular updates on outstanding actions to include progress made, forecasted completion of tasks, and barriers to completion -- including missing information or the need for additional. Work Location/Potential Access Requirements Due to the nature of WRPS maintenance activities, the subcontractor personnel performing field work support and troubleshooting will work primarily from contractor facilities but will be required to access any facility maintained or operated by WRPS including 2704 HV, 2750E, Effluent Treatment Facility (ETF), 200E and 200W Facilities including 242-A and associated ancillary facilities. This access will include pre-job trailers, mobile offices, and conference rooms as needed to support all work. This access is required to facilitate exchange of information and ensuring worker and Subject Matter Experts are part of the planning and troubleshooting process. As such, Subcontractor will require Hanford Site access, HLAN access, as well as training and qualification to access WRPS facilities. It is not anticipated that the Subcontractor will require Tank Farm Access. Compensation Salary is commensurate with education and experience and may range between $100,000 to $250,000 annually.
