System One is looking for a Instrumentation & Controls Designer / Drafter to join our client’s engineering team in Richland, WA. You will also work closely with the factory staff to inspect and replace existing equipment.

This is a contract position onsite in Richland, WA with the possibility of extension or conversion. You will enjoy a competitive salary, as well as a supportive and collaborative work environment.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Two year technical degree with completed coursework in drafting and CAD

• 5 years minimum related experience

• Instrumentation & Controls Design experience

• 4. Develop detailed electrical design drawings and P&IDs

• 5+ years AutoCAD design experience (AutoCAD Electrical preferred)

• Developed PC skills including exposure to word processing, spreadsheet and database

• Proficient with electrical I&C codes and standards (NEC, UL, ANSI Y14.5, etc.)
