RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead engineering and maintenance support for equipment utilized in the manufacturing and development of Qorvo products
- Monitor equipment metrics and drive continuous improvement through data driven equipment and process analysis.
- Develop systems to improve and maintain equipment availability, manufacturing capacity, and line and product yields.
- Lead cross functional continuous improvement teams to implement solutions that address the root cause of problem areas.
- Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to support manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel.
- Maintains accurate records of equipment performance and improvement activity.
- Assist in resolving complex equipment failures and documents lessons learned to improve technician skills.
- Define and improve detailed preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Coordinate machine installations to support factory capacity expansions.
- Present and communicate data analysis and improvement actions to FAB management and equipment technicians.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing, leading, or mentoring manufacturing equipment programs and related support personnel such as Technicians and Engineers.
- Proven success in organizing and managing people and projects across the various groups with successful results.
- Strong technical capability, including knowledge of pneumatics, robotics, electronics, and semiconductor processes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Special consideration will be given to candidates with Metrology equipment experience
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent
