Robert Half AR Coordinator in Richardson, Texas

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Richardson, Texas. This role involves managing the collection of account receivables, reconciling accounts, and providing key direction for both internal and external customers to ensure timely processing of orders. This role requires a strong background in commercial collections, AR Cash Apps, and critical thinking.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the collection of account receivables in compliance with established policies

• Conduct account reconciliation and backlog management

• Assist Sales Operations with dispute resolution and customer communication

• Prepare weekly customer trial balances and internal reporting

• Process customer payments and resolve payment issues such as chargebacks and unauthorized deductions

• Maintain regular interaction with various internal teams for dispute resolution and collection of accounts receivable items in a timely manner

• Develop and implement policies for billing, collections, and cash applications

• Recommend ways to improve processes to avoid future collection issues

This role requires extensive knowledge of MS Excel, Collections - Commercial, Accounts Receivable (AR), Credit Administration, and Cash Applications among other skills related to credit and accounts receivable management. Experience with JD Edwards and Salesforce is a plus. Requirements • Proficiency in using MS Excel

• Experience in Commercial Collections

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to approve credit

• Experience with company credit card management

• Familiarity with Consumer Credit and Corporate Credit

• Understanding of Corporate Credit Card operations

• Knowledge of Credit Administration

• Experience with Credit - Skip Tracing, Credit - Consumer, Credit - Commercial, and Credit - Collections

• Ability to perform Credit Analysis

• Experience with Credit Application, Credit Approvals, and Credit Authority

• Familiarity with Credit Balance, Credit Card Charges, and Credit Card Deposits

• Understanding of Credit Card Fraud and Credit Card Industry

• Ability to handle Credit Card Payments and Credit Card Receipts

• Experience with Credit Card Reconciliation and Credit Cards

• Understanding of Credit Decision and Credit Department operations

• Knowledge of Credit Limit, Credit Hold, Credit Memo, and Credit Notes

• Familiarity with Credit Portfolio and Cash Applications
