Description

A client of ours in the manufacturing industry is looking to hire an AR Clerk!

Responsibilities:

• Generate and send out invoices to clients.

• Track and monitor accounts receivable to ensure prompt payments.

• Process payments received from customers and apply to appropriate accounts.

• Resolve any payment discrepancies, disputes, and delinquent accounts.

• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and accurately posted.

• Prepare weekly and monthly accounts receivables reports for the management.

• Assist in AR month-end closing and audits.

• Interact with customers to provide billing information, handle inquiries, and resolve any issues.

• Work closely with the sales and customer service departments to resolve outstanding invoices.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws or regulations.

  Requirements

Required Skills:

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Excellent data entry skills.

• Familiarity with accounts receivable software, databases, and spreadsheets.

• Good numerical skills with an understanding of accounting principles.

• Effective communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data.

Education Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field.

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
