Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the government sector at Rialto, California, United States for the role of an Accounting Analyst. As an Accounting Analyst, you will be tasked with a range of responsibilities that include handling accounts payable, managing payroll timesheets, and processing payments for various city departments.
Responsibilities:
• Handle and reconcile accounts payable for the city
• Manage and process payroll timesheets
• Receive and reconcile funds collected by various city departments
• Issue dog licensing and process related payments
• Process payments for parking citations and other city fees
• Utilize accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning tools effectively
• Conduct routine auditing and ensure the accuracy of billing functions
• Maintain comprehensive records of accounting functions
• Leverage financial services tools like ADP and Ceridian for optimal efficiency
• Use Tyler Technologies Munis in managing accounts payable and receivable. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with Ceridian
• Knowledge of Concur software
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to perform various Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Auditing skills
• Knowledge of Billing Functions
• Experience with Tyler Technologies Munis is a plus
