Job Title: Project Architect

Job Description

Join our healthcare architectural studio with an office in Rhinebeck, New York, providing full-service architectural and interior design services on projects across the Northeast Region. Healthcare is a continually growing sector of the marketplace, so we are looking to add another registered architect with experience in the healthcare field to our team. If you have the following qualifications, we’d like to talk with you.

Responsibilities:

▪ Apply sound architectural and design techniques in the preparation of all phases of documentation.

▪ Lead the design process from planning through close-out, working collaboratively with clients, design team, and consultants.

▪ Analyze applicable codes and regulations.

▪ Review and respond to RFI’s, submittals, and shop drawings during construction administration phase; attend site meetings; prepare field reports; address field issues.

▪ Able to handle workflow of multiple projects.

▪ Occasional same-day travel required for site visits and field work.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture

  • Proficient in AutoCAD

  • Proficient in Adobe Suite

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite

  • Proficient in WordPerfect

  • Proficient in Sketch-up

  • Experience in healthcare projects preferred

Soft Skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize

  • Creative problem-solving

  • Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills

Job Type

This is a permanent position / long-term opportunity.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Rhinebeck, New York.

Work Environment

Smaller office in a trendy city. Lots of opportunity to have a big impact with a tight knit and established firm.
