Aston Carter Supply Chain Planner in Reynoldsburg, Ohio

We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Supply Chain Planner (Second Shift) to optimize our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a keen ability to oversee inventory requirements, manage supply chain activities, and implement strategies that enhance productivity and reduce costs. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of our manufacturing operations, directly impacting our success and customer satisfaction.

Description:

Forecasting demand and creating supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.

Monitoring and managing inventory levels to optimize storage costs and meet production schedules.

Negotiating contracts and pricing with vendors and suppliers.

Assessing supplier performance to ensure contractual compliance and resolve any issues.

Implementing new systems and processes to improve supply chain efficiency.

Coordinating with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to integrate supply chain management with companywide strategies.

Analyzing data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues.

Evaluating and reporting on KPIs and metrics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field, preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management within the manufacturing industry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in supply chain management software and tools.

Demonstrable capability in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
