DUTIES:

• Develop and coordinate the development of marketing communications materials (letter, brochures, videos, point of purchase displays) to include use of sponsorships, events and sales promotions by creative design and creative writing services to effectively represent the products, services, brands and/or the organization to customers and prospects;

• Apply various communication strategies to create an impression, raise awareness, and encourage a preference and response by the target audience for the organization and its products, services, and brands;

• Work closely with account teams and clients to develop and execute their social media strategy in support of their overall strategic communications plans for existing clients and new business;

• Demonstrate to clients how social media can play a role in the larger digital ecosystem and how it can be optimized for health communications programs;

• Create social media content, including copy and creative. Develop cross-channel public health messaging that can achieve communications objectives and demonstrate understanding of how to engage key audience segments based on a variety of lifestyle or life stage qualifiers;

• Review analytics for clients’ programs and provide recommendations for improvement. Demonstrate how data and analytics planning and evaluation both pre- and post-campaign can result in attribution/behavior change for federal health campaigns;

• Work closely with creative, digital, and paid media teams to produce fully integrated health communications programs. Communicate with science writers, client health spokespeople and media teams to support the production of social media content to announce results of health studies; and,

• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a closely related field followed by 4 years of experience in social media OR Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a closely related field followed by 2 years of experience in social media. Must also have:

• 2 years of experience at an advertising or consulting agency;

• 2 years of experience working in highly regulated industries to build social media communications plans;

• 2 years of experience with social media platform management, content development, analytics and listening tools, including Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Buffer, or Hootsuite;

• 2 years of experience integrating creative, data/analytics, paid media, and/or other client services teams to develop fully integrated, insight-driven campaigns; and,

• 2 years of experience developing social media and communications plans and presenting to leadership teams.

Position eligible for 100% telecommuting.

There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $122,600 - $123,084.
