The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for an energetic professional with outstanding analytical capabilities to join our Government Compliance team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and enthusiastic team member who is highly organized with excellent attention to detail. This role will be a contributor to the Government Compliance team and will assist in supporting DCAA audits, preparing CACI’s annual incurred cost proposal and responding to other various requests for information and interorganizational initiatives. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in government contracting, including exposure to incurred cost proposals, Disclosure Statements and an intermediate level understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). This position requires the ability to work effectively as a team member within both the Government Compliance organization and the overall CACI organization.

The Government Compliance Senior Analyst must exercise judgment and possess strong problem solving skills in performing his/her duties while complying with established policies and procedures. This is a full-time regular position that has hybrid flexibility with the requirement to work in our Reston, VA office a minimum of two days per week.

Responsibilities:

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Government Compliance and will:

  • Act as liaison and interface with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and other government agencies for reviews and audits.

  • Respond to requests for information from DCAA, the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) or other government agencies in support of ongoing audits with the ability to research, interpret, and understand regulations to support the company's position.

  • Assist with the preparation of CACI’s annual incurred cost proposal, CASB Disclosure Statements or other submissions (e.g., cost impacts) as required. Research and respond to internal inquiries on the company’s cost accounting practices, policies and procedures and providing guidance on Government Compliance matters to ensure employee awareness and compliance.

  • Identify potential government compliance problems and work to resolve them as well as to prevent future problems.

  • Assist with special projects, as required.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.

  • 5+ years of government contract compliance experience.

  • Strong knowledge of the FAR (and related agency supplements), CAS and other government regulations.

  • Experience working with DCAA auditors and interacting with DCMA Contracting Officers.

  • Advanced Excel proficiency and data analytic skills.

Desired:

  • Experience in preparing or auditing Incurred Cost Proposals.

  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint is highly desirable.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain and defend a point of view.

  • Ability to build effective relationships with government representatives and company personnel.

  • Self-starter able to take initiative within a fast paced, agile environment.

  • Well organized and confident to work independently, but be a strong team player.

  • Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and multi-task on a variety of initiatives.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$71,500 - $150,200
