We are actively hiring a Chinese Linguist to join our team working in Reston, VA. You will be responsible for supporting a government agency and your office with translation, transcription, and/or interpretation services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Linguists will provide translations focusing mainly on topics in science and technology.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

  • Bachelor’s degree is desired

  • Translation into both English and Target Language

  • Transcription from Source Language into English

  • Quality Control and Editing of language products

  • Terminology Management

  • Triage

  • Analysis and report writing

  • Summarizing/Gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise

  • Subject Matter Expertise in areas of Counterproliferation, Counterterrorism, Cyber, Economics, Military, Science and Technology, or Politics/Leadership

    PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Interpretation between source and target language
