Description We are in search of a meticulous Billing Clerk to join our team in the Healthcare industry, located in Reseda, California. In this role, you will be responsible for processing customer invoices, maintaining precise customer records, and managing customer inquiries within a hospital and social assistance setting. This role calls for a deep understanding of accounting functions and the ability to manage accounts receivable effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer invoices using computerized billing systems

• Handle all aspects of accounts receivable to ensure timely payment

• Operate EHR and Epic Software systems for accurate record-keeping

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services for financial management tasks

• Maintain precise customer records and promptly update any changes

• Resolve customer inquiries regarding their billing and account status

• Perform various accounting functions to support the financial health of the organization

• Handle inbound calls from customers and provide them with necessary assistance

• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Ensure all billing functions are carried out in compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines. Requirements • Minimum of two years experience in a similar role within the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industry

• Proficiency in accounting software systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with computerized billing systems

• Knowledge of EHR SYSTEM and Epic Software

• Experience with About Time software

• Proficiency in accounting functions and accounts receivable (AR)

• Experience in answering inbound calls

• Familiarity with billing functions

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
