This role will be part of our Technical Project Management & Portfolio team.

This position isregional toUSand a hybrid position based at our RTP, NC facility.You willprimarilywork on projectsrelated tothe sites in North Carolina, Texas and California.Some travel to the other US sites will be required.

Your primary tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Run approved projects through the identification phase. This phase is important for us as this is where thesolution,exact scope, the exact implementation and operational costs and resource needs are formally defined.Clear communication of the outcome is important.

  • Plan and execute projects after the identification phase.Understand and manage the critical path.Managing risksand communicate effectively.

  • Manage project resources – internal and external, and the project spend and budget.

  • Report regularly to the project steering committee.

  • Maintain strong relationship with the IT Project Owner

  • Connect and proactively communicate with stakeholders both within and outside the projects.

  • Contribute to continous development of our processes and tools, including PMO practices.

  • Use and help us improve our internal PM playbook.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Background Requirements and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences (Engineering or Pharmaceutical Science) required, or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Project Management, ideally from the pharmaceutical industry or other related industry.

  • Experience implementing business applications is preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of IT Infrastructure Technology.

  • Advanced knowledge in navigating and steering projects through potential uncertainties and unknowns.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Experience negotiating with key stakeholders in senior levels to influence decisions in project the scope to ensure success.
