The IT Solutions Delivery Manager is overall responsible for the communication, planning, and maintenance of multiple information system projects, systems and products. This person oversees and assists the team of DevOps Engineers, Scrum Masters, and external providers in the delivery and support activities. Delivery and support activities include but not limited to Business Process Analysis, Development, On-going maintenance, and standard's definitions and improvements. A major responsibility is to ensure all business processes and deliveries align with an optimized and harmonized focus to Global BASF and Regional AP IT processes.

As a IT Solutions Delivery Manager - Research Triangle Park, NC, You Create Chemistry By...

  • Organizing IT technical delivery to new and existing product, project or solution demands for the region and creating and maintaining BASF specific methodologies based on defined standards.

  • Overseeing and assisting the team of DevOps Engineers, Scrum Masters and external providers in delivery and support activities with internal business stakeholders. Encouraging and steering the team to adopt new IS trends in current and future projects.

  • Ensuring alignment of Business Process and IT deliveries with the optimized and harmonized focus to Global BASF, Global AP, and Regional AP process.

  • Collaborating closely with 3 other Regional Head IT Solutions Delivery colleagues to steer, communicate, and align on common timelines, budgets, processes, deliveries and goals.

  • Analyzing root causes and developing solution strategies with the team, external IT solutions provider, GD and internal customers.

  • Leading a cost center, including approving travel requests, closing contracts with external IT providers, and deciding on expenses/investments for the team.

If you have...

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related business-technology discipline.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a team of more than 5 members, with both people and financial responsibility.

  • A University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science and at least 10 years of experience working as an IS professional in software development.

  • Experience working in an international/global company for at least 5 years and experience in designing and implementing technical solutions with ongoing application support.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrated through creative solutions to complex problems.

  • Proven project management experience, meeting deadlines and achieving goals.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities, inspiring shared excellence and resolving issues efficiently.
