We are looking for a Counsel to join our Legal team in Research Triangle Park, NC.

You will serve as a legal advisor to the Global Seed Treatment & Insecticides business within the Agricultural Solutions Group in North America/RTP and support businesses/functions under the direction of and in support ofthe Associate General Counsel, North America.

As a Counsel, you create chemistry by...

• Providing legal support to business stakeholders by interpreting, preparing, reviewing, and negotiatingcontracts, while also serving as a trusted advisor to business managers and corporate function leads.

• Identifying and addressing legal issues that require specialized support from various functions such as patent,labor, litigation, compliance, privacy, and regulatory, and coordinating the delivery of such support tostakeholders.

• Demonstrating a commitment to principles of diversity, inclusion, and empowerment in all aspects of your work.

• Utilizing your strong judgment and independent thinking to lead and support compliance-related projects asneeded.

• Exercising meticulous attention to detail and leveraging excellent communication skills to effectively manageand support business stakeholders, conveying complex legal and commercial concepts in a clear and concisemanner.

• Taking a proactive, resourceful, responsive, and efficient approach to drive the implementation of Companyand Legal Department initiatives.

If you...

• A Law Degree (required) and Bar admission in at least one US state (required).

• Minimum of five (5) years of legal experience (required), with a preference for some in-house experience.

• Proven expertise in commercial contract negotiation and drafting.

• Experience advising in the areas of Agricultural Crop Protection, Seed Treatment, Insecticides, Agribusiness,and/or Seed Industry.

• Knowledge of Operations/Supply Chain/Contract Manufacturing, US Antitrust/Competition law, and familiaritywith firewall concepts.

• Familiarity with Agency and Distribution business models.

• Experience in Marketing and Communications programs and promotions, Technical Service Bulletins,Sweepstakes, Mergers and Acquisitions, and/or Integration support.
