This position serves as a front desk receptionist. Job Functions / Responsibilities Serve as first point of contact for calls and walk-ins. Manage the plant lobby; greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner, ensure tour guests adhere to plant tour guidelines and maintain complete sign-in/sign-out records Provide support and customer service to employees regarding various HR topics.Utilize problem solving techniques when necessary to research employee questions. Participate in executing departmental goals and objectives. Play an active role in promoting positive employee relations and engagement by coordinating employee appreciation programs and events. Support new employee on-boarding process. Support recruitment activities as assigned. Enter employee data into HRIS system and produce reports as necessary. Manage standard dress program. Administer the department's MRO process: create and track department purchase requisitions, ensure open purchase orders are reconciled against purchase requisitions and invoices are received. Contact vendors as required. Be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends Must be reliable with dependable and regular attendance Other administrative tasks as assigned.
