The Role As the Director Contracting, you will lead the PSJH Contracting team, overseeing staff management, ensuring the integrity of our contract management system, and supervising system policies and procedures that govern the provider contracting process. With your strategic prowess, you will guide contract operations across all PSJH markets, aligning with our organizational objectives. By fostering robust relationships with PSJH leadership, you will create a collaborative environment that drives success. Your proven track record in contract negotiation, process enhancement, personnel management, and software systems implementation will distinguish you as the ideal candidate. What You'll Do Contracting Dynamo : Lead the PSJH Contracting team in drafting, negotiating, and executing all provider employment and professional services agreements. Process Innovator : Develop and implement workflows and procedures for the entire provider contracting lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration with finance and operational teams. Change Champion : Manage and enhance processes to meet KPI and compliance objectives, fostering understanding and adherence to organizational requirements. Tech Trailblazer : Implement and manage our PSJH-wide contract management system (CMS) for optimal workflow management and data integrity. Policy Architect : Develop and sustain system policies that govern provider contract workflows and approval steps. Leadership Luminary : Inspire and lead provider contracting managers and specialists, assisting operational leaders in negotiating impactful contracts. What You'll Bring Strategic Insight : A Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration, Law, Finance, or Business Management, with a Master's Degree or Juris Doctorate preferred, or equivalent experience. Leadership Experience : 10+ years in contracts, regulations, finance, and/or risk management within a healthcare delivery setting or at a law or consulting firm, with 8 years leadership experience. Advanced Contracting Expertise : Mastery of contracting principles and the ability to manage multiple teams effectively. Collaborative Spirit : A talent for working harmoniously in team environments and building strategic relationships. Decisive Judgment : Skill in exercising independent judgment in challenging situations. Proficient Communication : Exceptional oral and written communication abilities, complemented by advanced problem-solving and organizational skills (preferred). Why Join Us?
