As a Commodity Manager, you will have the opportunity to learn about and support the aftermarket business and ultimately the number one business initiative: CUSTOMER UPTIME. Job Functions / Responsibilities Develop, negotiate, and implement strategies resulting in enhanced profitability, improved supply chain performance, lowest total cost, and broader aftermarket product offerings. Coordinate with PACCAR Purchasing and PACCAR Parts Product Marketing the development and execution of successful global commodity strategies. Conduct meetings and formal presentations with suppliers, PACCAR Purchasing and Aftermarket stakeholders at all management levels. Travel globally to suppliers and PACCAR locations to negotiate, evaluate capabilities, assess production readiness, and investigate new opportunities. Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 2 years of purchasing, supply-chain, and/or PACCAR experience Experience in an aftermarket parts environment a plus Negotiation and strong analytical skills Excellent organizational skills, attention to details and multitasking ability Excellent written and verbal communication skills Creative, self-motivated quality and results-driven work ethic Project management experience is preferred Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field required. Graduate level degree (e.g. MBA) a plus. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for the Commodity Manager role is $84,000 - $131,700 annually.
