Service Linen Supply, an industry leader in linen supply and rental for over 75 years is seeking a common sense-minded and seasoned Engineer to lead our team of industrial maintenance mechanics and be responsible for the smooth operations of our plant in Renton, Washington.  This individual will have an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with top of the line equipment.  Reporting directly to our President, you will plan and direct the work of 5 other engineers and general maintenance staff.  Your team will be responsible for equipment and facility maintenance, ensuring compliance in environmental and safety programs, managing utility consumption, operation of boilers, equipment installation, and preventative maintenance program.  You will also oversee parts inventory, general truck maintenance, housekeeping and overall appearance of the plant and building.  You will be responsible for equipment and truck maintenance for both of our Service Centers. On occasions, you will be required to travel to our remote service centers in Burlington, Washington and Clackamas, Oregon. SLS is looking for an Engineering Leader who is well versed in the following: PLC, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical trouble shooting, oxy-acetylene welding and plasma cutting welding Experience with Milnor tunnel washer and Kannegeisser laundry equipment is a HUGE PLUS Previous background in preventive and general maintenance of machinery, facility, and fleet required Boiler License preferred Safety conscious with demonstrated success in building and implementing safety programs to promote Safety culture. At least 5 years of Supervisory Experience within a commercial laundry preferred, either linen or healthcare or food production plant Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent training and experience General computer skills and experience with Outlook and Microsoft Office
