Senior Software Project Manager

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Develop, manage, and execute software development project plans, drive cross-functional team deliverables and schedules, and see projects through to completion and ensure that deadlines and requirements are met.

  • Manage scope, review project status, and understand how to assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Identify and manage risks.

  • Provide definitive direction to drive efficiency in project execution and accuracy ensuring on-time delivery, and within budget.

  • Manage communication of progress to internal and external stakeholders and escalate issues as necessary.

  • Actively monitor project progress with an emphasis on problem solving.

  • Use project management tools and processes to keep the budget and timeline on track

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience:

  • Ten (10) years or more of IT experience

  • Must have a minimum of 7+ years of overall experience in leading software implementation projects, which included development and delivery to customers

  • At least five (5) years of experience project management frameworks and best practices and the systems and software development life cycle, including scope, schedule, and risk identification and management.

Skills:

  • MS Project proficiency

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Healthcare experience

The likely salary range for this position is $123,250 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
