[The Material Handler role is responsible for assisting with inventory management for the production and distribution needs of the company. This position is responsible for working to ensure that all production and non-production materials are organized/available when they are needed. [The ideal candidate will have a minimum 1-2 years of Material Handling experience ( including operating a forklift and other material handling equipment) in a manufacturing environment, be highly organized, detail oriented and a self-starter. • Ensure incoming materials are accurately received, appropriately stored and distributed
• Work with a continuous improvement attitude towards maintaining materials in an organized manner
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare/package outgoing material shipments as needed.
• Follow documented procedures and suggest improvements.
• Assist other areas/departments as needed
• Work on special projects as needed

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact in a positive manner with all Company personnel, suppliers and customers.
• Able to provide quality customer service assisting internal and external customers in person, via phone and by email.
• Working with ERP software programs and spreadsheet applications a plus
