POSITION SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Human Resources and will play a crucial role in attracting and retaining exceptional employees. In this position, you will be responsible for continuously seeking out top talent and working closely with hiring managers and HR professionals to ensure a seamless recruitment process.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Collaborate with the VP of Human Resources and other business leaders to identify talent needs and workforce planning.

  • Assist in the design and implementation of succession planning strategies to identify and develop high-potential employees for future leadership roles.

  • Create and manage talent pipelines to ensure a robust leadership bench.

  • Assist in the design of leadership development programs to cultivate leadership skills at all levels of the organization and align to succession gaps.

  • Develop and implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and retain top talent.

  • Identify and address factors that may contribute to employee attrition.

  • Lead employment branding initiatives.

  • Perform sourcing of exempt and leadership roles to fill open positions and anticipate future needs.

  • Partner with HR leadership and HR Business Partners; lead workforce planning and employee forecasting needs and develop proactive strategies to recruit and fill.

  • Lead the implementation of consistent selection practices, ensuring hiring managers have all the necessary capabilities.

  • Gather, analyze, and inform stakeholders on key-performance indicators related to hiring activity and team performance.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated history of success in talent acquisition at all levels, preferably in a manufacturing or other industrial environment. Other desired qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field with a minimum of 1-2 years related work experience or minimum of 5+ years current Talent Acquisition Manager work experience.

  • Knowledge of ATS (Usage and Implementation) and Databases.

  • Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles.

  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards.

  • Strong analytical, reasoning, accountability, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

  • Solid working experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to professionally interact with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.

  • Adhere to the principles of confidentiality.

  • Experience with developing candidate pipelines through proactive measures.
