We are seeking aNurse Practitionerto join our team at Renown Healths new Crisis Care Center. This center will provide medical screening, assistance, and resources to individuals in our community who are experiencing mental health challenges and crises in an ER setting.

MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensure: Ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada licensure, Controlled Substance License, and DEA as a Nurse Practitioner.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Full-time employed position with Renown Medical Group as a Provider
• Dedicated Team: MDs, NPs, RNs, LCSW, Peer Support Specialists, and Security Officer
• Meet a significant community need and improve access to mental health and addiction treatment by connecting adults to the right care.
• Reduce the number of adult psychiatric and addiction patients being treated in Renown Emergency Departments to open beds for other individuals with medical needs.
• Provide medical assessment upon triage to patients.
• Work in an ER/Urgent Care setting
• EMR: EPIC
• Formal Academic Affiliation withUniversity of Nevada, Reno School Medicine/Renown
