SAIC Senior Product Operations Manager in REMOTE WORK, Virginia

Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Operations Manager to lead our release management process, coordinate with marketing for go-to-market strategies, and manage our business group application marketplaces. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of product life cycles, market dynamics, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to ensure the successful launch and adoption of our products.

This position will play a critical role in helping SAIC achieve a differentiated and competitive advantage in the marketplace. The position must balance business process and customer needs, providing consultative support to senior management across the organization to assess feasibility of strategic direction, identify configuration risks, and provide recommendations and alternatives to support the strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee configuration management as well as release management and ensures quality and timely delivery of products and features.

  • Coordinate across various teams, including development, QA, and operations, to manage the end-to-end release process.

  • Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, quality, and schedule.

Marketing Coordination & GTM Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align on product messaging, positioning, and launch plans.

  • Develop and execute GTM strategies that effectively communicate the value proposition to the target audience.

  • Monitor post-launch metrics to assess the impact of the GTM strategy and identify areas for improvement.

  • Oversee the presence and performance of products in various business group application marketplaces.

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize product listings for maximum visibility and conversion.

  • Work with product teams to ensure marketplace requirements and capabilities are integrated into the product development process.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Serve as the point of contact between product, marketing, and business groups to ensure alignment on objectives and timelines.

  • Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to track progress, address challenges, and synchronize efforts across teams.

  • Prepare and present reports on release progress, GTM strategy effectiveness, and marketplace performance to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in product management, operations, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a senior role.

  • Working knowledge with JIRA and Aha!

  • Proven track record of managing product releases and coordinating successful go-to-market strategies.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a knack for cross-functional collaboration.

  • Experience with data analysis and making data-driven decisions.

  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

  • Experience with business group application marketplaces and digital distribution channels is highly preferred.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
