PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $83,300.00-$101,700.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $64,600.00 - $120,600.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

As a Sr Email Marketing Specialist, you will shape the digital landscape of BECU by creating and executing impactful digital marketing lifecycle programs and promotional campaigns that connect potential and current members to our vast array of products and services. Your innovative strategies, meticulous tracking, and continuous optimization ensure that digital channels, including email marketing, mobile app display, OLB (Online Banking) channels, and paid media (as needed) drives membership and engagement goals. By supporting and enhancing digital marketing endeavors, you will not only build comprehensive plans, but also oversee their execution from inception to performance review, ensuring each step maximizes impact.

This role is primarily remote with in office time required for monthly team meetings and other occasional business needs.*

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Strategic Campaign Designer: Be the go-to expert for new member acquisition campaigns, evaluating digital marketing channels, and designing campaigns that reach predetermined goals.

  • Performance Analyst: Monitor ad platforms, analyze campaign performance, and report on successes or areas for improvement. Make data-driven recommendations to enhance or pivot tactics based on results.

  • Digital Media Innovator: Develop and implement new digital marketing channels as needed. Educate and mentor stakeholders on these new marketing channels to ensure seamless integration.

  • Strategy Executor: Deliver and execute lifecycle marketing strategy to onboard, re-engage, and retain BECU members through email and SMS.

  • Email Marketing Architect: Develop new strategic email journey programs and provide the guidance and direction for the execution of email and direct marketing campaigns including building and formatting emails in Stensul, develop testing plans, etc.

  • Insights Provider: Provide input into senior-level documents including monthly business reviews, quarterly business reviews, annual planning, and more. Provide written analysis on campaign performance that will be shared with stakeholders and senior leaders.

  • Data Visualization Expert: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, designing, building, and maintaining customized reports that convey operational performance to stakeholders in the most useful visual format.

  • Collaborative Campaign Manager: Work closely with Marketing Strategy, Digital, Creative, and Content teams to develop, prepare, and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns.

  • Mentorship Facilitator: Onboard new team members, guiding them through digital marketing processes, tools, and programs.

  • Brand Ambassador: Represent BECU at trade events and informational activities to promote our credit union and its digital marketing initiatives.

  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as needed to contribute to the team's success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of functional experience in marketing and/or digital channel support role.

  • Experience with email marketing strategies and at least one leading email marketing service provider (eg SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Braze, etc).

  • Experience with data analytics.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a financial institution.

  • Experience in the development, execution, and optimization of lifecycle marketing programs.

  • Ability to research and compile information for recommending or enhancing programs.

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Exceptional planning and project management skills.
