About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Capture Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing capture efforts to secure new business opportunities. You will work closely with business development, proposal management, and operational teams to develop winning strategies and ensure successful bid submissions. This role requires a strategic and analytical thinker who will conduct thorough research, develop strategic and action plans, present to, partner with executive leadership, and maintain forward momentum through an extended, complex opportunity lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Leading capture efforts: Developing and executing comprehensive capture plans to win new business opportunities.

  • Shaping opportunities: Engaging early with potential clients to shape and influence their requirements to align with Conduent's capabilities and their best interests.

  • Strategizing and planning: Conducting competitive analysis, identifying win themes, and developing strategies to differentiate Conduent's offerings from competitors.

  • Conducting research: Performing thorough research on market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to inform capture strategies.

  • Building relationships: Establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams, to enhance Conduent's position in the market.

  • Managing resources: Coordinating and managing cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of capture activities.

  • Developing proposals: Collaborating with proposal managers and subject matter experts to develop compelling and compliant proposals that address client needs and requirements.

  • Analyzing data: Identifying and analyzing data to measure and inform the success of capture efforts.

  • Maintaining momentum: Ensuring sustained engagement and enthusiasm throughout the capture process, which can be lengthy and complex.

  • Tracking progress: Monitoring and reporting on the status of capture efforts, ensuring alignment with business development goals and objectives.

  • Driving continuous improvement: Identifying lessons learned and best practices to enhance capture processes and increase win rates.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in capture management or business development, preferably within the government or commercial sector.

  • Track record: Proven success in leading and winning large-scale business opportunities, with a strong understanding of the capture management lifecycle.

  • Strategic thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop innovative capture strategies that align with business goals.

  • Research and analysis: Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough research and analyze data to inform strategic decisions.

  • Relationship building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.

  • Project management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple capture efforts simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines.

  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and client requirements to develop winning strategies.

  • Team collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead them to success.

  • Resilience and persistence: Capacity to maintain momentum and enthusiasm throughout long and complex capture processes.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry knowledge: Familiarity with the government contracting process and regulations, as well as experience working with federal, state, or local government agencies.

  • Technical acumen: Understanding of technical concepts and solutions relevant to Conduent's offerings.

  • Certifications: Professional certifications in capture management or business development (e.g., PMP, APMP) are a plus.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive, and Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $132,00 - $165,000
