Job Description

Time to get to work! We’re seeking an experienced Power BI Embedded Developer for a client in Central Illinois. This is a 3-4 month contract opportunity for the right person that could possible be extended. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop & train Power BI Embedded dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide insightful and actionable information.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, analysts, and management, to gather requirements and understand business needs for data analysis and reporting.

• Work closely with the IT team to integrate data from various sources into the Power BI environment, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

• Optimize and enhance existing Power BI dashboards and reports to improve usability, performance, and data visualization techniques.

• Provide technical expertise and support to other team members, including training and assistance with Power BI Embedded functionalities and best practices.

• Perform data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within Power BI Embedded reports and dashboards.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI Embedded API and related technologies to continuously improve our reporting capabilities.

• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of Power BI solutions to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Power BI Embedded Developer. Must have experience embedding reports of a Power BI workspace within a web page or custom application and creating reports and analyzing datasets through applications, portals or websites

• Strong proficiency in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

• Proficient in SQL for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis. Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)

• Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer

Colorado Pay Range:

20 - 125/per Hour
