Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review all required Reg 60 documents and the accuracy of data provided to ensure proper processing

  • Utilizing internal systems for critical customer/carrier comparisons

  • Collaborate with Financial Professionals and Insurance carriers for the generation of illustrative values

  • Initiate contact to existing carriers to ensure the status of requested illustrative values communicate in good order values and assist with rectifying carrier rejections

  • Quality control of completed work to ensure accuracy

The base salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Comfortable communicating with Financial Professionals via email and/or phone

  • Ability to collaborate with other New Business personnel and team members to assist in issuing business

Skills:

Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience.

Financial Planning Instruments (Pensions, Annuities, etc.): Knowledge of financial planning products, market segments and marketplaces; ability to analyze and apply knowledge of financial planning products to meet financial goals and objectives.

Knowledge of Insurance Operations: Knowledge of the full spectrum of activities, practices, tools and considerations for insurance operations; ability to apply knowledge of insurance operations to provide administrative support to the insurance business.

Knowledge of Product Line: Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for specific products; ability to develop product line processes and strategies.

Relationship Building: Knowledge of the importance of creating positive relationships within the team and ability to develop trusting relationships by valuing others' concerns and contributions.

Telephone-Based Customer Servicing: Knowledge of customer service delivered via telephone; ability to deal with handling customer inquiries and responses received by telephone.
