Responsibilities

* The work schedule will be Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm CST *

  • Able to effectively integrate data, feedback, observations from a variety of sources across time to anticipate upcoming needs.

  • Successfully lead projects across functional teams from inception to delivery.

  • Anticipate and respond to teammates questions and resolve teammates issues.

  • Supports HR Centers of Service with knowledge management, processes, and ServiceNow cases with in-depth knowledge across HR functional lanes, with an emphasis in Benefits and Compensation.

  • Effectively handle a new center from diligence to acquisition to integration. Identifies risks, recommends solutions, works with other members of HR, and interacts with center teammates. Supports flawless integration which maximizes investment. May collaborate with other resources to ensure integration success.

  • Effectively handles all disciplinary issues and escalate as appropriate.

  • Live and inculcate in others the SCA Values of Integrity, Teamwork, Service Excellence, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, and Clinical Quality.

  • Get things done at rapid pace, organizing self and teams to deliver results on a large-scale organization, working with a broad range of people.

  • Leverages internal and external HR support resources to resolve issues. Escalates complex issues or those which indicate trends which could impact the company.

  • Provides recommendations on internal best practices, mitigating risks, policy and compliance related topics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field preferred

  • At least 2-4 years of Human Resources experience

  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred

  • PHR or SPHR preferred; PHR-CA or SPHR-CA a huge plus

  • Working knowledge of all functional areas of Human Resources

  • Experience in the ambulatory surgery center industry a huge plus

  • Must have strong MS Office skills

  • Project management and change management experience

  • Is a good steward of the company’s assets

  • Ability to manage a significant workload and fast-paced flow of expected output. Comfortable with matrix and remote reporting relationships

  • Self-starter who works collaboratively with other members of the client and Human Resources teams
