Job Purpose Summary

  • We are seeking a Clinic Account Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment to join our team. The Clinic Account Manager is responsible for owning the sales process for our clinic product portfolio, providing in-service and technical support to customers, and working in conjunction with our Field Sales Team on customer management.

​​​​ What you will do

  • In partnership with the field sales team, be the primary point of contact on our clinic product portfolio while also providing technical support, in-service support and data support to our customers.

  • Where applicable, provide hands-on demonstrations and education to healthcare professionals in Acute & Non-Acute setting on the proper use and benefits of our clinic product portfolio.

  • Work closely with the field sales team to identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, training sessions, and account activities in CRM systems.

  • Successfully conduct clinical evaluations to validate product performance to ensure sale and ongoing use of products.

  • Collect and report customer feedback.

  • Understands the different types of Ophthalmic clinic products such as AmbioDisk, AmbioSurg, Punctal Plugs and Barron Trephine Systems.

  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Continually gathers information on the competitive landscape, prevalent industry trends, and business climate within the territory and shares it with the company.

  • Attend trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings as needed.

  • Understand and comply with applicable customer policies, HIPAA, and vendor requirements.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

What you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.

  • Ability to become proficient in clinical and technical product and procedure knowledge, as well as a clear understanding of how to properly function within a private physician office and/or hospital based operating room setting.

  • Proficient with CRM platform (Salesforce.com).

  • Highly organized and has very effective time management skills.

  • Highly customer focused.

  • Excellent selling and presentation skills.

  • Must be able to analyze financial information.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including strong listening skills.

  • Ability to effectively build and maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues across organizational levels.

  • Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office, PowerPoint as well as networks and internet applications.

  • Up to 20% travel domestically within territory (depending on candidate’s location within region).

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this role is $95,000 - $115,000 (base +commission). Further, pay that is offered is based on geographic location, internal equity, market data, applicant’s job-related skills, commensurate experience, required licensures, certifications and certain degrees.
