Bentley Systems HR Technology Operations and Controls Manager in Remote, Pennsylvania

Location: Hybrid in our Exton, PA office.

Position Summary:

The role of the HR Technology Operations & Controls Manager centers on ensuring process compliance, enhancing operational governance, and managing key initiatives related to HR controls and technology operations.

This role requires collaboration with internal and external teams to streamline processes, implement enhancements, and maintain performance standards.

Your Day-to-Day:

HR Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with established control standards and frameworks such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), ITCG (IT General Controls), or any other group control.

  • Coordinate and provide necessary support for audits, ensuring evidence and remediations are properly addressed.

  • Develop and provide training and support to ensure controls are understood and effectively implemented.

  • Coordinate actions with respective areas to address compliance gaps and issues.

HR Technology Ops:

  • Oversee technology operations governance and tracking for colleague success (HR) area, including managing budgets, contracts, and tracking delivery and change requests.

  • Support daily technology operations, ensuring smooth performance and adherence to SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and performance metrics.

  • Proactively identify and manage risks associated with technology operations, processes, and data handling to ensure operational stability and security.

  • Monitor and resolve operational issues to improve efficiency and performance.

  • Ensure consistent delivery from legacy systems, maintaining data accuracy, privacy, and security.

  • Work closely with various teams, such as the Colleague Success (HR) teams, Digital Enablement, and external vendors to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient operational execution.

Processes:

  • Ensure governance processes and workflows are well documented, including any new or improved business processes.

  • Plan and coordinate training efforts to communicate changes and updates effectively.

  • Focus on process improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.

  • Oversee and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLA adherence.

  • Consolidate process flows and updates to streamline operations.

Key Initiatives:

  • Oversee and consolidate results, risks for key projects and initiatives.

  • Analyze impact and coordination with overall global processes and cycles based on the planning for the different initiatives.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, based in our Exton, PA office.

  • This role requires communication with Managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and/or by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.

  • Minimal travel may be required.

  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements (https://www.bls.gov/ors/factsheet/visual-overview-of-physical-demands.htm) ).

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or related fields.

  • 5-8 years of experience in process governance, controls, or HR system operations.

  • Proficiency in managing and governing change requests within technology systems and processes.

  • Able to effectively partner with IT and non-technical customers to understand user needs and translate needs into technical process and configuration requirements.

  • Proficiency in process improvement methodologies and tools.

  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks and operational control standards.

  • Strong understanding of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and IT General Controls to ensure control compliance.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate across teams and present data.

  • Able to work in a dynamic organization by balancing multiple priorities.

  • Proficient in Excel, formulas, reconciliation and managing data.
