The HR Metrics Analyst will be responsible for enterprise-wide use of key HR metrics, the most important being headcount. This person will partner with Finance and other internal stakeholders to ensure availability and accuracy of headcount data and headcount analyses by factors such as cost categorization, cost country, enabling functions and others. Further, they will collaborate with segment Workforce Planning & Analytics representatives on use of headcount and C&B data as part of M&A and restructuring activities. Responsibilities also include management of the GE Vernova HR bowler.

Note - Location is global/flexible.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize the landscape of available data, reports, and visualizations related to headcount in partnership with the Simplification & Enablement Manager.

  • Ensure end users (HR, Finance, People Leaders) are clear on where to go depending on headcount data needs/purpose.

  • Identify, scope and lead or contribute to enterprise-wide HR simplification projects where headcount and C&B costs are inputs and/or impacted by project outcomes (e.g., job structure, restructuring tracking).

  • Collaborate closely with Finance on governance and use of headcount and C&B data; ensure appropriate access, data cuts etc.; provide headcount data for monthly CEO letters, quarterly Ops Reviews, and other Finance processes.

  • Manage quarterly headcount forecasting process in partnership with segment Workforce Planning and Analytics representatives.

  • Populate HR related data for enterprise-wide bowler (e.g., attrition, headcount).

  • Partner with People Operations and DT to resolve headcount related issues within Workday and other data sources (e.g., Vernova Data Lake).

  • Collaborate with HR Reporting and HR Analytics teams to ensure consistent understanding and use of headcount and C&B data.

  • Oversee technical architecture and maintenance of GE Vernova HR bowler. Optimize bowler updates using automation and low cost resources.

  • Provide support to segment Workforce Planning & Analytics representatives on reporting, forecasting, modeling of headcount, C&B costs etc. in support of restructuring and M&A activity.

  • Support HR data requests associated with Lean activity (e.g., Kaizen prep); collaborate with HR Reporting and Analytics team members to compile relevant data and insights.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and sufficient years of relevant work experience with exposure to HR reporting and analytics, technology and/or operations.

  • Candidates must experience in HR reporting and analytics, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies, ideally within a multinational organization.

  • Hands on experience in quantitative data validation, analysis and interpretation with multinational companies or large corporations at corporate/regional/global level – including Workday and Tableau.

  • Ability to gather and visualize data from a variety of sources.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve issues. Looks for ways to standardize, simplify and drive efficiency.

  • Ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities.

  • Collaborates effectively with others through influencing, coaching, and/or coordinating within and beyond own team.

  • Knowledge and experience on protecting sensitive data.

Desired:

  • Good eye for design and aesthetics as it relates to data and information sharing.

  • Strong track record in developing and conducting projects unilaterally in all stages – planning, kick off, work coordination, proposal, implementation, and adoption.

  • Experience in providing independent technical guidance and counsel to HR stakeholders at various level of experience and hierarchy in the organization. Ability to adapt advisory style and tailor final products to target audiences.

  • Demonstrated excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and follow process with great detail and accuracy.

  • Builds networks to enhance effectiveness and share knowledge.

  • Actively seeks out expertise and best practice, related to own area of contribution.

For roles contracted in US:

The base pay range for this position is $ 105,800.00 - 170,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. *The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
