GE Healthcare Product Sales Specialist, Point of Care in Remote, Iowa

Job Description Summary

As the Product Sales Specialist Point of Care Ultrasound (PoC), you will be responsible for creating, developing, and winning sales opportunities across our PoC Ultrasound products, solutions, and services by calling on Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, Critical Care, MSK, and other Point of Care departments and personas. You will be a Sales expert for your assigned territory as well as your product portfolio offerings. You will need to be able to differentiate GE’s offerings and convey compelling value proposition to successfully close sales. You will partner with existing accounts including large, complex, strategic, or tactically important accounts. Additionally, you will be responsible for winning new business in break-in and/or competitive accounts assigned within your territory.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Within the Nebraska and Iowa geographic area responsible for selling product(s), services, parts, solutions, or projects.

  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.

  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

  • Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers.

  • Ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking.

  • Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

  • These sales jobs will mainly be individual contributors.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3 years of experience in Point of Care Ultrasound.

  • Must live in the territory and be willing to travel within the territory.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team.

  • Capital equipment sales experience, ideally in the Medical industry.

  • Experience in the Capital Hospital Buying Process.

  • Knowledge of how to create, manage, and maintain a Capital Business Funnel.

  • Healthcare and/or Ultrasound sales experience.
