Are you tired of working to patch legacy applications and ready to put your knowledge, skills and experience to work building a true modern application that is new development, cloud native, working in an Agile Software Development Framework? Are you ready to actively influence the quality of one of CACI’s COTS products, impacting the success of the customers' mission, our team, and CACI? CACI is currently looking for a Product Manager to join our HighVIEW product development team. HighVIEW is CACI’s commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) product designed for Enterprise Content Management. You will lead the product development team to conceive, develop, prototype, test and debug a new range of products for the HighVIEW Product suite in accordance with established goals and objectives; must have the ability to make sound technical decisions, prioritize project deadlines, follow up and complete critical items; ability to motivate others to reach timelines and deliverables, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. You may also be spearheading the redesign of existing HighVIEW products. At times, you’ll work closely with product integrators and external customers to resolve challenging technical issues.

In order to excel in this role you must bring creative ideas to solve complex problems, both technical and procedural. You must have a willingness to learn various technologies that are or may be brought to bear in the development of current and future generations of HighVIEW. We’re looking for someone with a talent for leading product design and system architecture decisions, and experience with team management. You will use your technical and management skills to create functional and attractive products that are cost-effective and user-friendly.

This is a Hybrid Position with 10% onsite for customer meetings in one of our Hendon, Chantilly, Winchester and Ft Meade Locations.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the HighVIEW product manager leading research and development efforts, software design and implementation, project oversight, test management and financial oversight for the delivery of a releasable software product.

  • Lead technical teams on product development projects through full lifecycle planning, development, and sustainment phases.

  • Prepare long and short-range plans for software application roadmap, full life cycle development, systems development, systems maintenance, risk and change management, production activities and for necessary support resources.

  • Work in dynamic and changing environment while assuring key milestone objectives are satisfied with a focus within cost budget constraints.

  • Maintain awareness of full program goals and efforts to assure opportunities for shared resources and technical overlap is properly managed and utilized.

  • Customer point of contact and provides regular technical presentations as needed.

  • Ensure that quality products and services are delivered to the customer

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • US Citizenship with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Management, or related discipline and at least 10 years of experience.

  • Ability to define and influence technical and process best practices within a team

  • Experience working on unusually complicated problems and providing solutions that exhibit ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness

  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a good background in the product development process.

  • Ability to apply estimation techniques to software development and testing efforts

  • Experience in project planning and tracking, experience in resource estimation and management as product manager of research, development, and sustainment projects.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Experience with Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing concepts

  • Familiarity with XML, JSON, PowerShell, batch scripting

  • Experience with UI/UX principles

  • Experience with agile and/or DevOps processes and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)

  • Experience with leading teams that build or maintain cloud-native applications

  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$104,200-$229,200
