The Opportunity:
CACI has an immediate need for a Legal Strategist to join our award winning team in Homestead, FL or in a remote capacity on a part-time / on-call basis. As a Legal Strategist , you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between legal frameworks and real-world military operations. This position supports command leadership in identifying and implementing advanced legal strategies, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risks to enable mission success.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with leadership to identify and address legal requirements in areas such as operational law, intelligence oversight, contracts, and rules of engagement.
Provide guidance on the integration of legal considerations within operational plans, ensuring all actions are legally sound.
Monitor compliance with relevant National and International laws, offering expertise to strengthen mission outcomes.
Develop and implement long-term legal strategies that support operational objectives and risk management.
Act as a key advisor, providing strategic recommendations on legal tactics and frameworks that enhance command decision-making and operational directives.
Develop and recommend legal frameworks and policies that enhance operational readiness and compliance.
Guide personnel in applying legal guidelines to real-world military scenarios.
Monitor and assess legal compliance, advising on potential impacts to mission planning and execution.
Collaborate with leadership to align legal initiatives with overarching operational goals.
Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations regarding legal considerations and compliance measures.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in law, political science, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years in roles requiring legal strategic analysis, compliance oversight, or related experience in defense or governmental organizations.
Proven ability to translate complex legal statutes into actionable guidance for military operations.
Desired :
Advanced degree in law (JD, LLM) or a related discipline with a focus on national security.
Experience in operational coordination at an O-5 level or above tactical, operational, or strategic command.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to deliver bilingual Spanish-English presentations and reports.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$78,100-$171,900
