Description

We are offering an opportunity to join our team in Redwood Shores, California as a Legal Secretary. In this role, you will be involved in multiple aspects of IP/patent litigation, assisting our litigation group through all stages of the process. This role does not require any specific employment duration commitment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the litigation group in various matters across all stages of litigation

• Review, cite-check, and prepare court filings

• Support in filing and service of documents, and manage all aspects of discovery

• Maintain production and deposition indexes for general case organization

• Update production databases and assist with preparing document productions

• Prepare for and attend trials

• Provide support and work closely with senior paralegals and attorneys

• Utilize skills in Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, Management System, Microsoft Excel, Billing Functions, Briefing, Calendar Management, Claim Administration, Complaint Handling, Intellectual Property - Litigation, IP Litigation, Cite Checking, and e-Filing

• Experience in Civil Litigation is advantageous

Requirements • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, and Management System

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Billing Functions

• Demonstrated ability in Briefing, Calendar Management, and Claim Administration

• Skilled in Complaint Handling

• Knowledge of Intellectual Property - Litigation and IP Litigation

• Proficient in Cite Checking and e-Filing

• Civil Litigation Experience is required
