Oracle Manufacturing Cloud is part of Oracle’s Supply Chain Management suite of cloud application s, being built to address today’s newest challenges in manufacturing. It provides a comprehensive set of solutions that address the needs of different industries, manufacturing modes and supports multiple production environments such as make-to-stock, make-to-order, engineer-to-order, etc.

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Product Manager to lead the development and management of products and solutions in the process manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of process manufacturing industries, such as chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, or oil and gas, and a strong background in product management. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives, and working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to market.

Responsibilities

As a member of the product development division, you are expected to actively contribute to business requirements analysis, product solution design, user interface design, product testing, product training, and marketing collateral preparation. You will work closely with support, consulting, education, worldwide marketing, sales, and our existing customer base to help our current and future customers to get the most out of Oracle Supply Chain Cloud.

The Product Manager is a member of an agile team that acts as the customer proxy. They work with the other Product Managers and engineering teams interpreting customer and product goals and managing new features into production. They will also be the voice of the engineering team to product strategy, marketing and sales teams, as well as the voice of the customer to the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for process manufacturing solutions. Align product goals with business objectives and customer needs.

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify market trends, customer pain points, and growth opportunities.

  • Product Development: Collaborate with R&D, engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

  • Customer Focus: Act as the voice of the customer by gathering insights, understanding customer challenges, and ensuring that the product development process is customer-centric.

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotion. Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to drive product adoption and revenue growth.

  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate product plans, progress, and changes to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, sales, and customers.

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and post-launch analysis, ensuring continuous improvement and iteration based on customer feedback and market dynamics.

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product performance, optimize features, and make informed decisions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within process manufacturing industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, or oil and gas.

  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of process manufacturing operations, including production processes, quality control, supply chain management, and regulatory compliance.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Customer Orientation: Passionate about understanding customer needs and delivering products that exceed expectations.

  • Agile Methodology: Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.

  • Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP and SCM software for process manufacturing industries

  • Attention to Detail: Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers, stakeholders, and teams.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
