Oracle ERP Principal Product Manager/Next Gen Credit to Cash in Redwood City, California

Oracle ERP Cloud product management team is looking for a high-energy Principal Product Manager with creative ideas around building the next generation of Financials applications. This opportunity will place you at the heart of our mission to redefine the Credit to Cash business process to optimize accounts receivables processing. In this role, you will re-imagine the business process, including creation of charges, consolidation and release of invoices, touchless application of cash receipts, and implementation of exception-based collection strategies. You will leverage the latest AI technologies, including Generative AI and Agentic AI to increase productivity, provide business insights to accelerate cash inflow, and innovate to automate processes.

As a Principal Product Manager with our team, you contribute throughout the product development life cycle in a challenging and intellectually stimulating environment. You analyze customer requirements, develop a vision of the solution to fulfill the requirements, and manage the details of that vision to realization. You also provide industry expertise and coordinate complex projects.

Our global and growing team has a diverse mix of skills and backgrounds, from patent-holders with decades of experience to recent graduates from top universities. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from the entire team in a fast-paced and enjoyable environment.

The expectation is that the successful candidate will work in person at the Redwood Shores, CA office.

Responsibilities

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

As a product manager with an innovation focus, you will:

  • Challenge existing solutions and the status quo to drive innovation.

  • Understand the real business environment in which our solutions exist in the rapidly evolving digital world.

  • Develop personas based on behavioral patterns and goals to drive decision-making.

  • Create designs that imagine the ideal experiences for users to achieve their goals.

  • Understand what motivates people to use your product.

  • Collaborate with product managers in adjacent areas, such as project management, order management, and subscription management.

  • Collaborate with Developers on reviewing any technical solution document to ensure that it is aligned with the finalized solution approach.

  • Partner with technology teams to learn and influence the direction of Generative and Agentic AI and apply the technology to deliver customer value.

Key skills and experience for the position include:

  • Background in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, in particular in Financial management

  • Knowledge and experience with designing solutions using Generative, Predictive, and Agentic AI

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (design, development, and testing) including Agile/Scrum development methodology, and quantitative analysis of customer usage data

  • Experience with design thinking for innovation

  • Ability to manage projects

  • Ability to rapidly iterate based on continuous feedback

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,900 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
