Summary About the Position: Serves as the Security Assistance (SA) and International Programs Management Specialist and branch chief for a Project Office. As a recognized expert provides staff level expertise and managerial oversight for the SA aspects of the weapon system and exercises direct managerial coordination over the foreign military sales (FMS) activity within a PEO Missiles and Space Project Office. Responsibilities Provides continuing staff and technical management, coordination, and monitoring of SA program accomplishments. As the representative for the PM, participates in the development and execution of all SA agreements for the weapon system. Provides staff and technical management, coordination and oversight for International Program accomplishments. Ensures the development and execution of international program agreements, to include rationalization, standardization, and interoperability agreements as the POC for the PM. Personnel Management: Responsible for the execution of administrative and personnel management responsibilities related to the accomplishment of the mission assigned. Plans organizational structure and staffing needs. With the advice and assistance of personnel, manpower and management specialists, promotes sound position management principles and programs. To qualify, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. This typically includes work performed at the next lower grade/level (NH-03/GS-13) position in the federal service. Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Managing oversight for the Security Assistance (SA) aspects of the weapon system; 2) Exercising direct managerial coordination over the foreign military sales (FMS) activity; 3) Developing applications to specific FMS customers with broad acquisition system requirements; and 4) Delivering proficient advice concerning regulations and/or procedures for export of technology as contained in the Arms Export Control Act. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Planning and Evaluating Project Management Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. One-year probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
