For more information please see: ACQDEMO This position is part of the Department of Defense (DoD), Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The incumbent will be responsible for serving as the designated Agency Records Officer (ARO), with the responsibility of executing key Records Management Program duties. Responsibilities As a Records and Information Management Officer at the NH-0308-3 broadband level some of your typical work assignments may include: Serving as the designated Agency Records Officer (ARO), assigned to the Chief Information Office, with the responsibility of executing key Records Management Program duties. Providing oversight of the Agency's Records Management Program by developing and implementing policies for compliant records management. Ensuring the Agency Records Management Program success through effective communication, project monitoring and timely implementation of corrective actions when needed in order to comply with local and federal mandates. Managing the day-to-day operations of Records Management and communicate status of the program with various levels of leadership as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications You may qualify at the NH-03 broadband level if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service and must meet three of the five statements listed below in order to be qualified: Providing oversight and implementation of Records Management policy. Leading and implementing projects and assignments that support a Records Management Program. Performing routine practices that align with the Department of Defense, the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and other federal mandates for Records Management. Promptly responding to all data calls, RFIs, audits, and assessments requesting information regarding the Records Management Program. Overseeing daily operations of the Records Program ensuring adherence with all federal mandates. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
