Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a Program Officer for various ACAT I, II and/or III programs within the Project/Product Managers (PM) Office. The pay band NH-04 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-14 to 15. Responsibilities Projects major project milestones and events necessary to complete the strategic implementation of the acquisition project. Manage financial aspects and risks for an acquisition program. Manage contracting activity for an acquisition program. Brief senior level management, OSD and DA on status of the assigned programs. Review information support plan (ISP), digital engineering (DE), architecture, and model-based system engineering (MBSE) products for compliance with Government and Industry standards. Provide training and guidance on MBSE tools and methodologies to enhance project outcomes and team proficiency. Build, integrate, and optimize complex interoperability systems and services. Manage a team of system engineers responsible for developing the mapping of information exchanges between military standards. Perform trade studies to generate and translate conceptual designs into technical specifications, participate in the assessment of prototype interoperability software solutions, and integrate into current architecture.
